I’m installing unfinished knotty alder doors in my home. How can I make these doors look older, with an antique look? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ppd, it sure would help if you gave some specifics about what you think an "antique look" is. Are you talking about a natural clear finish, stained, painted, light, dark, cracked, peeling, multi-layered, faded, weathered, worn?
Antique Finish on new door
Sorry about that hammer1. I would like to stain and clear coat with a satin varnish. Hoping to hi-light certain areas to mimic an older door getting darker in some areas. Hope this helps.
They will have two raised panels. I'm looking for an overall color between a honey oak and medium oak. I've never worked with alder before.
Glaze
A glaze is a typical product for "dirtying up" a finish. It goes on between layers of finish. It's a product heavy in pigment and light in binder. You work it on and manipulate to your liking, let it dry overnight, then apply a top coat of finish to lock it down. For details, see Bob Flexner's book.
