Hi, I’m Jim, a mediocre woodworker. I’m looking for tips, hints, suggestions for making a display case(?) for multiple antique fountain pens. I have available supply of walnut and oak.

Since no one's answered your post yet (where is everyone?) you might want to do a search on the web. The companies that provide plans and supplies for turning pens may well have a plan or two for display cases. Here's a sample search on google.com

The first comple of hits aren't terribly relevant (Office Depot and eBay) but after that, there are a lot of links to woodworking sites.

To further FG's suggestions, check out places like staples. Their better penpencil sets they sell are often in nice display cases. Might want to try some jewelry stores also. May not find styling that you are looking for, but it may help with starting the idea juices rolling.

Hi Don, good idea. I'll see if I can get inspired at Staples. Thanks!
Jim
forest_girl, many thanks. I'll check it out.
