I am furnituremaker and woodcarver in Wisconsin I would be interested in talking to you about your carving or help you find a carver closer to your area. One thing to consider is if you go with CNC you will lose the character of the carving by not having the facets that the carving tools leave behind. Just a thought. you can contact me, [email protected]

I was just looking at your post and was thinking, it seems to me that all of you woodcarvers know each other in Wisc. so my question is to you do you know Homer. He is a big tall crazy man from Baraboo. Also a truly gifted woodcarver and trouble maker.......Have a great day Rick. ADESIGNS..............
Rick,
No the name doesn't sound familiar. but Baraboo is about 4 hours north of me.Let me know how things work out for you. Another option is if you have a Woodcraft in your area there may be an instructor that could do the job for you. Also you can try a carver by the name of Dimitrios Klitsas he is on the East coast he is also one of the finest carvers in the US. you can reach him at http://www.klitsas.com let me know how things turn out my schedule my free up in a few weeks.
