Just purchased a can of “Fiddes Supreme Wax polish” and the consistancy of the wax is very loose, almost like a loose pudding. If i tipped the can, it would pour right out of the can. Is this the normal consistancy for this product? John

This time of year, yes.
Put it in the house and it will firm up a little.

Yes it is normally that thin. I was concerned too until I put it on my sample finish board.
I just finished using it on the curly maple dresser I posted in the knots gallery. It is a dream to work with. I was surprised at how loose it was but I didn't need to prime the steel wool with mineral spirits first. Word of warning, it dries to a very hard finish *very* quickly. Only put on a small amount otherwise you will get a very sore arm rubbing out the wax. I found two very thin coats went on quickly and I could buff it out relatively easily.
