It looks like Lamello Clamex connectors may be perfect for my project that requires temporarily joining plywood edge-to-edge. Anybody tried ’em yet? Can I use a regular biscuit cute blade and just make two cuts? Anybody know where I can get quantities fewer than 18 pair?

I am a hobbyist woodworker who "spealizes" in rocking cradles. I built one with clamex, using the a Dewalt bisquit joiner. With patience I set the depth so that I could cut one slice, flip the board over and make the second slice. Actually worked very well. Shipping an 18 x 36" x 30" tall assembled cradle was expensive. I could not find a smaller amount to purchase, so will use what I have left on future projects. I am on my 16th cradle currently.
