I am considering buying shaper cutters for an interior door project I have coming up. I noticed the following item on ebay, and requested additional information from the seller. His note said it is:
“Sterlin (Sterling?) Tools Carbinde tipped shaper cutters part no: st2170”
I couldn’t find any reference to this company on Google, and I have never heard of them. I don’t want to buy the cutter unless it is from a reputable company. Is anyone else familiar with this company? Thanks.

I just checked the URL and the item has been sold to "emtvicki".
I would suggest you check the Grizzley catalog. They have shaper cutters in 5 patterns each for cabinet, passage, and exterior doors, so you can have matching patterns throughout the house. They go for $189 the set:

I believe these are sold by a company here in Central IL called A&I Supply. They sell router bits under that name. This tooling is a branded product that they get from Woodline Arizona. It's on the low end of the scale. The bits work okay for one offs or, special cuts, but I don't buy them for high wear or production runs.
