Do you own Lee Valley ear muffs? I’m speaking of the electronic ones that retail for $28.50. What do you think? Are they comfortable? Are they effective?

Hi,
I own a pair...got 'em for Christmas.
The sound through the mic is tinny...but if all you want is function (vs. sound quality), they're fine.
You can leave them on all day and still hear the phone, the tone of your router/table saw and still be protected from ear damage from sudden increases in the SPL.
Listening to the radio with them on is not pretty..tinny sounding.
For the price they're fine. I'm happy with them..for the purpose they serve. I've not compared any more expensive models.
