I recently purchased a bottle of the PVA cabinet makers glue that Lee Valley sells (but haven’t tried it yet). I decided to try it as they advertize an open time around 20 minutes. Anybody had good/bad experiences with this glue?
Thanks for any info.

I've used up almost 4L of that glue now, and i have more on my LV shopping list. It seems very strong, i really like its longer open time, and it cleans up fairly well. It's much runnier than typical yellow wood glue, so that has to be taken into account when applying it, but yes, it gets my vote.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to use some today!

I've used LV's 202GF for many years. In addition to the long open time, any squeeze-out sits on top of the wood rather than soaking in. The dark brown color makes it easy to see, and the stuff just chips off without pulling any fibers with it. I've never had a joint fail, even those that have lacked the desired piston fit due to operator error!
Buy it...you'll like it!
