Hi to all Aussies and Kiwis
I know that there are a few ex servicemen who are keen woodworkers using this site, and just want to say that I hope you had a good one, meeting with old mates and reminiscing and enjoying each others company and remembering those who made the big sacrifice. Hope tomorrow morning isn’t too severe.

Re: ANZAC Day
Since I don't quite go back to the First War, I wasn't familiar with the celebration. But, a hearty "hoorah" to all the Aussie and Kiwi vets. Your reputations preceed you, and it would have been an honor to serve next to any of you. U.S. Army, 65-68.
Hi Ralph
Thanks for your best wishes and comments, Anzac Day is similar to your Vets Day where we remember our mates who didn't return. Stems from our first military engagements as a newly formed Nation in the 1st WW and subsequent employments. Mostly we have a very sad Dawn Service and march (parade) in rememberance then spend the rest of the day telling lies, drinking and playing two up.
