I remember seeing a neat article in FWW recently (past year maybe?) on plugging screw holes with a square plug, as frequently seen in arts & crafts style furniture. It featured, basically plugging a round hole with a chisel carved square plug , which sat just proud of the surface. Now I can’t find the issue. Anyone know which one it’s in? Thanks, Gary

The last ones I did I used a mortiser to square the top of the hole.Then cut square ebony plugs.Cutting the rounded facets was the worst part
