I’m making a country style hutch and have decided to add some 3/8″ Q round to the frame & panels. My quandry is how to attach so I won’t have issues down the road. I really only have one face to attach, since the solid cherry panel needs to fload underneath. I have a single 3/8″ surace to attach. I have consiered a pinner, but realing don’t want to since I have avoiced all any nails or screws in the piece(not that there is anything wrong with that.) The other option is simply glue. The question is, would regular glue hold up, or should I consider something like epoxy or stronger?
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Personally, I'd glue it and pin it, but that's just to avoid clamping. The pins don't really add any structural strength so glue should be fine.

I'd glue the miters and pin the rest. Be sure to cut the longer pieces ever so slightly long so they squeeze everything tight. Spring them straight and secure them with a few pins.
Regular PVA (yellow) glue is fine.
Get a good 23 ga. pinner and you'll never look back.
