I’ve completed a walnut Queen Anne style tea table. I used multiple coats of shellac to finish. I just noticed that the cove molding I attached to the top is separated at the corners. I assume this is from contraction of the wood top. How do I fix this. Can I fill the gap? How do you keep this from happening. I used Norm Vandel’s book to make this project. How did the “old timers” do this 100 years ago?
Any help would be appreciated
