Need help, its been almost 20 years since I took shop class and I don’t know what I’m doing. The goal is to convert this attic door into a hidden shelf that opens inwards. I am looking for some suggestions on what type of wood, how to join them, and any plans that may be available. I also realize that the hinges will need to be removed since the door will be opening differently. If I can’t build myself and the cost of buying additional tools is too much I may just fork out the $ to a handyman. Any idea how much that might cost?
