Hello to all, This post is to notify all Knotheads that Philip Marcou of Marcou Planes, is once again the sole source for the purchase of his planes. Due to a recent change in business arrangements there is no longer a dealer located in the U.S. and all business correspondence and inquiries should be directed to Philip thru his email [email protected] , Philip will soon be launching a new web site in which to showcase his beautiful work, and to bring forth new offerings.
I am happy that Philip is moving forward with his business, and wanted all to know how to reach him.
Jeff

I have only recently discoverd the work of Mr. Marcou. The recent threads on his planes made me do a little research and they are spectacular. I dont know if I will ever be able to afford one but they are a work of art. I guess there is nothing wrong with dreaming. I wish much luck to Mr. Marcou. He is a true craftsman that can inspire us all. Thanks for the update Jeff.

Thanks. I "met" Philip here through the Knots, and have enjoyed conversations regarding woodworking and other topics over the years with him, and I just wanted everyone here to know where they can get one of the finest planes being made today.

Glad you pointed this out, Jeff. I, too met Philip on this site, and am grateful for his freely given help and support. He is a primo guy and a master plane maker as any review will clearly show.
