   hello  datapip.

   yes you can get FWW here in the uk.w h smiths. some local newsagents keep it or do as i do get it mailed direct from usa.  try not to get the pages wet when you weep at the prices of the machinery. would also recommend furniture and cabinet maker from uk.

      By weeping at the price of the machinery, do you mean we pay more or less in the U.S..?  Just curious..

   US prices right across the machinery and tools spectrum have always seemed very low to me, whether from a UK (where I once lived) or New Zealand and Australian perspective.

   I had a bit to do with the Guild when it was first establsihed in the UK.

   I seem to recall actually being a member at one stage.

   Put the logo on my biz card.

   I just tried to order online and there doesnt seem to be a facility to order in Uk .Just America or Canada do I have to go somewere else to order?

   hello datapip.

                      If you use customer service on knots site (top right hand corner)you can order FWW. on line. furniture and cabinet maker are a bit behind on the technology front ,(no web site) but good value.      would suggest that you try ordering both from W H Smiths or local newsagent.  I think my FWW comes in a bag with COMAG on it you could see if this is importer on WWW.

                      off to work to finish coffin (my first one ,and its for a living lady who wants to be prepared)(no relatives) I just hope she won't want to get in. I am still a bit twitchy about making it,  normal line of business is furniture.

                   ps I think usa tooling is about 40% cheaper (less expensive)anybody coming over with a BIG trunk (suitcase) let me know.

   Thanks again TBag, I used to make coffins for a living a few years back. Most of the coffins are made of chipboard venneer I also made a few solid oak ones, the lining takes a bit of practice good luck
