   mrles,
   These swings are magical: http://www.childlife.com/
   They attract kids to a back yard like bees to honey. My neighbors in MI tried to compete by building forts and stuff in their yards...no dice, the kids came back to mine.
   Clearly, the key to these swings is the geometry, producing a real nice feeling swing...and maybe the paint color. My swings are long gone now or I'd share the specs.

   Thanks very much for the reply. I checked out the site and it looks very interesting, lots of options. I live in Baytown Texas and there is a dealer in Katy, about 50  miles from here, the only one in the state. I will check them out.
