I’m looking for a source for Baltic or “Finnish” plywood for jig construction. I’d like to get it in 1/2″ to 3/4″ thicknesses, up to 2′ square or perhaps 2′ x 3′.
Any good suppliers in SE PA or So Jersey?
Any good mail order/on-line suppliers? Rockler, Woodcraft, etc?
Thanks,
Glaucon

I have always purchased my baltic birch ply at Rockler. They have 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4" material in a variety of sizes. ( There is a retail store near my home so I have never tried mail-order from them). Also, I have seen 13 ply 3/4" baltic birch in 4'x8' sheets at my local Menards store. I live in Minnesota and am not sure how far menards reaches.
Glaucon;
Industrial Plywood in Reading, Pa. has a large selection of all types of plywood (including Baltic and "Russian" plywood). Phone number 610-376-3343. I just bought some there last weekend and they beat my local suppliers bny a large margin.
Good luck!

Glaucon,
When I lived in Central NJ, used to get cabinet plywood from Willard Brothers Woodcutters on Basin Road, Trenton NJ, (609)890-1990.
Good luck
Thanks all. I know of Willard Bros- I'll give them a try (closer to me than Reading),Glaucon

Small clarification here: Baltic Birch uses interior glue, Finnish uses exterior. Might be that Finnish would be more expensive? Also has darker glue lines, not that it matters for jigs. ;-)

Delaware Count Supply is exit 1 off of 95 in PA. 1/2" baltic plywood is $34.80 and 3/4" is $42.40. They have not heard of "finnish" ply.

Thanks to both FG and Matt. I had just called DelCo Supply... those prices are for 5 x 5 sheets. I've dealt with them before and they have always been decent and fair...I wasn't aware of the glue distinction FG, but as I am planning to use the ply for jig construction, interior should be fine,Glaucon
