I’m awful at folding band saw blades for storage, but I always do it because that was what I was taught. So, is it necessary to fold them, or can they simply be hung from a hook without folding?

Folding is just for space saving, they can be just hung.
Thanks, I was concerned that hanging them may distort them in some way.
