Within the last 2 years there was a copy of fine woodworking that had a way to make a jig for properly tensioning your band saw blade. In the article they also talked about the springs that give the blade tension. I’ve managed to lose the issue, but they named a maufacturer in FL that sells high tension springs for about $15. I have 2 Delta band saws with totally shot springs, and I really need the name of this company. Any help on who these guys are, or another company that sells springs is appreciated.

The company is Iturra Design. I am afraid they do not have a web site but I believe you find them in some of the woodworking magazines. I bought one of their springs and it helped a lot.
