I have just installed a 1 hp motor on my rockwell 14″ band saw.
The tires appear to have surface cracks in them and the bottom one slips on startup should I replace them or glue the bottom one in place?

If they have surface cracks, they're shot. You can get new ones direct from Carter or many other suppliers.
