I am looking for a bandsaw and wondered if anyone has had any experience with Grizzly bandsaws. I am looking for a 16″ – 18″ model and have somewhat narrowed it down to Grizzly or the new 18″ Jet. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brad

I have the Grizzly G0513 and have been very happy with it. I am a hobbyist, and with Timberwolfe blades, it cuts like a dream. Here is a link to a review I posted when I bought it. Good luck.

Bones,
Thanks for the input. I am looking at the 0514, which I assume is similar in size and capacity.

It's bigger on all fronts. Bigger table, motor, and depth of cut. The roller mechanisms are different. The rail base mechanism is the same, but the fence rail is different. I'm sure you will like it. If you do get it, do a review here and share the knowledge.

Thanks, again. If I pull the trigger on one of these I'll let you know.

I almost got the 513X, but the table tilt is more restricted than the 513, and I wanted to cut DTs on the table. Weird, I know. I like the 514, would have ordered it if the budget would have covered it. Enjoy :)My goal is for my work to outlast me. Expect my joinery to get simpler as time goes by.
