What is the proper type of bandsaw blade for resawing wood?
I need to know the best type of tooth set and the number of teeth per inch. This is going to be a 1″ blade. Thanks for the advice.

In my opinion there is only one place to get the information you need. Go to Suffolk Machine at the url below. They handle the "Timberwolf" brand and they're the best I've ever found. Give them a call and tell them just what your trying to accomplish and they will tell you exactly what blade to get for your particular machine.

I absolutly agree with jonweis -- check out the Suffolk Machinery website. You can also call them and ask further questions and they have great customer support. And, you can buy direct from them and save roughly 40% over what you might pay for their blades at Woodcraft or elsewhere!
