I have a few Timberwolf bandsaw blades. It seems that 1/4 inch blades are easily bent while handling, especially during twisting and untwisting. The bends are slight but they translate to a distinct cut pattern. They are not severe enough to make the blade touch the guides but they leave a bumpy cut. Is there any way to repair these? Also would carbon steel blade avoid this problem?
Thanks.

Basically, 1/4" blades are good for cutting curves especially for smaller work. You should try to keep 3-4 teeth in
the cut at all times. For tight curves I use a 3/16” blade.
If it's just a simple short bent/kink, you can check a local shop to fix it or do it yourself. Or call timberwolf and
see what they coud do about it. I don't think carbon steel blade could solve your problem, bi metal blades
outlast carbon steel many times. I have Haltbar flex back carbon, I occassionally use it for general cutting ; works
fine ; I don't cut curves with this blade.
