I teach in a high school woodshop and have an old (pre-1960’s) Powermatic Model 81 bandsaw. This machine is missing the pins that hold the back bearing which prevents the blade from moving from back to front (both the upper and lower guide assemblies). I have contacted Powermatic and they do not have any drawings for this part. In fact, they have 15 different manuals for this model. If anyone has a similar vintage machine, I would appreciate hearing from you. I am looking for either a picture of the part or a drawing from a manual. If it helps, the serial number of my machine is 881320. Other than those missing parts, the saw is in very good shape. A machinist friend is willing to make the parts for me, we just need a better idea of what the original part looked like. Thanks for any assistance!
