I am going to buy a new bandsaw. I want to increase my resaw capacity. It is currently 8-9 inches and I want 12-15 inches. I am looking at the MiniMax and Agazzani machines. Are those good choices? Is there a better choice? Thanks

I have the Agazzani 20", new to me for about a month now, and I love it. Just sent Jesse at Eagle Tools some offcuts at .025 thickness, and suggested he use them when he mails out his literature. The finish is great, saw works great. Only thing I might do differently is go ahead and get the Carter guides. I am not in love with the Euro guides, but maybe with more experience it would be fine. Mine does 12 3/4" heavy for max resaw, and I have run a bunch of 12" hard maple, and 12" white oak, without problem. The DC is excellent, even though I have an older and great DC. That is next. I have the 1" Olson carbide blade, which is spendy but worth it (if it lasts, which I assume it will). BTY, the cheaper mobile base he sells is fine.
Both are excellent choices. I've got a Laguna 18" BS and love it. Any of these 3 would do your grandchildren well after you're gone ... :)
