I am building a bar with a top which will use the standard bar rail moulding. This moulding is 1 1/16 x approx. 6″ with the curved arm rest you see in bars. My
questions is how to fasten this moulding. The material has a two step rabbet and for a flush fit needs to be attached to the bar top. Is the second step for a support
“under top” or can you attach only the first (or top) step? Also what attachment methods – pluged screws, nails with glue?
