My husband made several Bartley kits as furniture for our home here near Baltimore, MD. Bartley kits are reproductions of old style furniture and were made in Denton, MD. The company has since changed hands and does not produce my kits any more. My husband passed away a year ago and I have found four full kits in our attic. They are all mahogany wood, pre-cut and include the stains. I thought I would ask this group to see if anyone has an idea of where I could find a woodworking group where I might advertise them. I’m willing to sell at a much lower price than what we paid for each. I would appreciate any help you could give me, even if to just point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

What are the kits building?
There are kits for two mahogany Pembroke side tables with wood inlay. There is one kit for a British mailbox made from mahogany. The last box is a sideboard with inlaid wood and made out of mahogany. The pictures I have won't upload because they are too big. The kit joinery usually fit well together and require little prep.
Have you considered ebay. An auction of the kits would put more in your pocket.
I've never sold anything on ebay. Plus the boxes are t0o heavy to mail anywhere. I'd like to find someone local who would appreciate the fine woodworking . A lot to ask I know; that is why I am looking for a woodworking group or newspaper or forum where I could advertise the kits.
You might call a woodworker store like Woodcraft or Rockler. The employees in those stores are often woodworkers plus they deal with your target market every day.
Another idea is to sell on Craigslist or call area high schools that have industrial arts programs.
Please contact me. I'm very interested in purchasing the British mailbox kit.
Thank you. Also, I would love to see a picture of it to be sure it is the kit I am remebering. [email protected]
I am definitely interested. Please contact me directly. [email protected]
Thank you!
Perhaps this is too late a year later, but I'm interested. Please email me at [email protected]
Thank you!
