Battery for Makita 6211D Drill Driver
Anybody know a reputable company that rebuilds batteries? I have a 12v NiCad Makita 6211D drill driver and 3″ circular saw that I absolutely love and am getting sick to my stomach because I only have one working battery left out of 3. I did see posts from several years ago about Primecell but it appears they are no longer in business. Also, there are plenty of noname aftermarket batteries available for this model, but I’m highly skeptical that they are any good.
Any advice other than shell out several $100’s to replace perfectly good tools for new ones?

I ran into the same issue a few years ago with a different tool. Even if I managed to eke out some more life from the old tools, it was going to continue to be an issue. And the expense was disproportionate. I finally decided to just buy new tools, and was very happy. The new tools A better, and new battery technology is far superior. And they make a range of tools and lights, even yard tools with the same batteries.
I know it doesn't answer your specific question, but I ended up being happy with retiring my old tools.
