I need to cut a series of beads in a panel. I don’t have access to any of the used wooden ones, I saw this on Amazon, appreciate thoughts on if this seems like a reasonable alternative -https://www.amazon.com/Chamfer-Woodworking-Professional-Woodworkers-Beginners/dp/B091N159BK/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2M9YKVKD1NC30&keywords=woodworking%2Bbeading%2Bplane&qid=1671722510&sprefix=beading%2Bplane%2Caps%2C185&sr=8-3&th=1
thanks

I wouldn't. Quality is probably crap, and you'd need to sharpen it. I'd get a router bit, if it were me.
I have a Veritas Plow Plane and a beading iron. Absolutely love it. So much fun to use and I try to use it on any project I can (various irons).

DON'T do it !
I bought one of these and it is a piece of junk. I got it with a single cutter. It barely cuts, splinters badly, etc. Back to the 9 1/2.
If you want mine, sned me an address.
I've had mine for at least 10 years. Worked flawlessly out of the box. It's a modern version of a go-to plane that's been around for literally hundreds of years.
The Lee Valley is a fine tool. I'm guessing mitch was referring to the plane from Amazon the original poster was asking about.
Sorry, I didn’t get that. Yes, agree mitch912 was most likely referring to the original post.
I have a lot of Veritas product and every one is extremely well built.
Never used this one myself but recalled seeing this Youtube about it:
