good evening,
I wonder if this knots discussion forum can help me out finding a way to build “egg beadings”in a simple and rather quick way. that is to say with the help of some modern equipment and tools. the eggs are about 25 mm, 1 inch in diameter and used to have a quarter ( 90 degrees).
hopefull this description is enough to raise some answers and tips.
thanks anyway,
ton wildeman,

Is egg and dart close enough? Not sure from your description of exactly what you are looking for. Post a link or picture for better answers.
dear rickl,
I'll try to find a photo and come back,

If I understand you correctly... Run a bead the width you want (I use a hand plane), use a saw to split the beading the length you want, and then use a gouge to carve the edges round.
There was an article in FWW in the recent past on diamond beading. It's somewhat similar.
dear pqken,
thanks for your reply, though I think there must be another way to make the egg bead. in this way there's still a lot of handwork.
