Anyone know where I can find a good selection of bed post finials? Thanks, agriffee.

Yeah, I saw those at Rockler. They have nothing in Cherry or large enough. Found some in Cherry at Cannonball Sheraton on net. Thanks very much, agriffee.
Sounds like a good reason to buy a lathe.....

Heard about it in another forum, they have them in different wood types (cherry, mahagony, ?). Prices are not listed on the web site, you have to order their (free) catalog.

Make your finials! This is, after all, a wood worker's forum.

I recently found a place in VT that sells turned and carved furniture pieces (http://www.tablelegs.com). Don't usually use mail-order pieces, but a customer had found them and insisted on a particular set of legs that I could not come close to matching in price. I think they only have a few finials, but may be worth looking at.
