Further to my earlier post about our community group buying 150 new chairs, we are also looking at a company that makes chairs out of beech. Looks like it is a laminated glue up with a few bends. I don’t do any work using beech, I would imagine as a lam glue up it should be good but I would appreciate your opinions. Thanks

Owned a kitchen set made of finger jointed beech for 25 years, sold to my ex as maple. The table top was, but the rest was beech. Held up great, donated to Habitat for Humanity 5 years ago and presumed to be in use today. All floating tenons & pocket screws. Much lighter use than what yours will face.
Beech is seldom found here, but its an excellent wood. I'd consider it pretty much interchangeable with maple for strength, wear and tear, etc.
