I recently upgraded from a powermatic 64a to a Delta X5 left tilt unisaw with beisemeyer fence.
The fence that I have does not sit perpendicular to the table. The old accufence I had allowed you to make a perpendicular adjustment by using two nylon runners as bearings on the flat part of the fence that could be screwed in or out to adjust it 90 degrees to the table (NOTE: I am not talking about parallelism to the blade here, but getting the fence face 90 degrees to the table)
I have had to place a lot of masking tape under the left side of the runner to shim the fence perpendicular. Has anyone else encountered this problem with their Beisemeyer fence? The rail guide tube assembly appears to be at the correct height.
Thanks

Since it's new contact the maker concerning warranty issues and put the burden on them. I saw a review and it stated there was no adjustment for this but there test fence was right on so therefore I would be led to believe the unit is defective and should be replaced. Delta has alwas been very good with warranty issues.
