What would the minimum radius be for bending 3/4 ash after steaming? I keep thinking I’ve seen a table listing species and bending radii with and without compression straps but can’t seem to put my cursor on it.

It's used for snowshoes with a toe tip of about 4" or so radius.
Excellence is its own reward!
Zachary Taylor, in a book called Wood Benders Handbook (Sterling Publishing) has a table of steam-bent radii by species. He says that American ash 1" thick can be bent to a 4.5" radius when bent with a compression strap.
Thanks, maybe I can get a 3/4 in around a 4" radius then? Do you happen to know where I might've seen that chart? It's drivin' me nuts!
