Hi again everyone, Ok, I’ve settled on either Ipe, spanish cedar, or BC fir for the hammock stand. Around here, they are all pretty much the same price, so it will depend on what my client likes. I’ve also convinced her that she’ll have to put a coat of varnish on it every year. My question now is: What is the best glue to use for these woods, considering that it will always be outdoors? Any ideas?
Thanks!

I've had good success with Gorilla Glue for my "Bamarondack" chairs. It does foam up though. Titebond has a glue out for outdoor uses, it's probably goos stuff too.
I have been using the west system epoxy for years with great results. I have Recently started using titebond 3 for some jobs with excellent results also. I am a little hesitant to trust titebond 3 on everything though because it is a new product. I am not sure if it is as good as the marine epoxy.
