I’ve been trying to set aside some time each month to work on improving my shop (moving things around, building shelves, etc). I just completed a rolling cart that I wonder what I did without it and it’s got me to wondering what you guys have done with your work areas that makes you wonder why you didn’t do this years ago. Please don’t assume that something is too simple cause chances are I haven’t thought of it.
Thanks
Tris

Tris... Here are a couple of ideas that make my life easier... 2 pencil sharpeners, one at each end of the shop. That way I will always have a sharp pencil to do my markings. Same for two telephones. Radio Shack sold (sells) a flashing light that hooks up with the phone. In case you can't hear it ring, you should be able to see the phone flashing. And... a dry-erase board by the phones to make notes. Hope these ideas help.
