Any recommendations for a 6 piece set of chisels in the $80.00 – $100.00
range? I am leaning towards the Hirsch set.
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,
I don't know what else is available in the price range, but you won't go wrong with Hirsch/Two Cherries (same chisel, two different names).

Another option for a set is the Beveled Edge Bench Chisels by Ashley Iles. Lots of good reviews, never heard a negative word; same goes for Two Cherries and Hirsch.

Kevin,
I bought a six piece set of Two Cherries two months ago and could not be happier. Now use the Marples blue handles for door stops. The set I got was a promotional item, they lacked the final mirror finish and have a slightly different handle, but otherwise the same outstanding quality. The set was $95 including postage. You might want to check here:

The prices shown do not reflect the 15% off given at the checkout stand. Happy hunting.

If you want to spend less, check out the 6 piece boxed set from Highland HW for $29.I bought a set and while maybe not as good as the best they are pretty darn good.Much better than my Blue Chips. I am not affiliated with Highland in any way, just really like their store & service.
