Dear All,
Before I really go and hurt myself, has anyone ever cut a beveled dado on a TS? It would seem simple enough, but something tells me that I may be asking for trouble. My TS & dado set are both professional grade, so that should be OK. I am looking to cut approximately 1/2 x 3/8″ out of the edge of 3/4″ birch ply. May angle will be approx. 35-degrees.
Thanks!
John

I have done it at 45 degrees and it worked fine. Just monitor feed rate and make sure you take standard kickback protections
One of the problems with beveled dadoes is the way the slot is cut in the material. If the piece rises off the table when cutting, it will pinch on both sides of the dado. This will either ruin your cut or cause other binding issues. You need good support both on the infeed and outfeed ends in order to keep the work piece flat and in contact with the table. Power feeders or feather boards can help. Before plugging in the machine, rotate the dadoes to check that they don't hit the saw anyplace. Taking some extra time to make sure the piece is able to feed flat and easily will pay off.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match

No reason you can't.. However, learn to use feather boards... Sometimes a pain to set up but holds the stock well and saves your fingers...
Just me though..
