Anyone ever made a purchase from the FWW classified advertiser Glass Source (always listed under Miscellaneous)? I’ve seen this ad in the magazine for some time and never made a purchase. I’m looking for a high quality source for beveled glass mirrors in custom sizes.
Thanks.

Go to your local up-scale glass dealer. 1 1/4" bevel is easy and easily available. 1 1/2" is a bit tougher and there's an outfit in Seattle and another in SLC that can do these bevels in either straight or curved.
Exactly what is it you're looking for? Straight?... or curved?...and what width bevel?

Nothing fancy. About 1" bevel on a rectangular mirror. I've got a few local vendors but thought I'd see if mail order could beat locals in price and quality.
Thanks.

I've found it's generally cheaper to use local suppliers for something like this because of shipping costs. Price em' all out to see who wins the job but be sure of what your shipping costs are going to be. A local can often save on shipping because of quantity but if it's a one-off order they may not be able to get a price break.
Good will is another consideration, I like setting up relationships with suppliers. I find I often ask for oddball things and having a past with a company really pays off when you need to stuff a round peg in a square hole.
1" bevel is an easy one.

Lee,
You too!? Everything I shop for seems to be odd ball. I'm beginning to wonder - where's the odd ball? lol Perhaps in my beveled glass mirror.
