When cutting Stickly legs I need to make safe bevel cuts on my left tilt tablesaw. My problem is that there is no surface area remaining to make the second bevel safely. The more narrow the strip the worse the problem.
I have posted this question before and someone was kind enough to respond and post details as to table saw set up and jig construction. However, having spent a week trying to look for the post I had no luck. If someone has a picture of the jig I can take it from there. Also in the PDF project article titled Pedestal Table, I noted what to me seems like an unsafe method for cutting bevels or is the method shown sufficient? I also reviewed the PDF articles on tablesaw use here at Finewoodworking and saw no reference to this proceedure. I have also spent numerous hours at bookstores looking for pics that show the process. I’m confused, is this not a basic process that should be included in all table saw mauals?
Thank you for your time. <!—-><!—-><!—->

Hi found a link to the last discussion:

Is this what you were looking for? You can always find past discussions in Ask the Experts or Knots by clicking on the Advanced Search link at the top of the left-hand column. (The forums are separated so if you were searching in Knots, you wouldn't have found it.)
To find your last discussion, in the "Additional Criteria" section, I searched for messages From: and typed in "man." The string you started a while ago popped up in the search results.
Good luck cutting those legs,
