Just got a biscuit joiner, and it seems to make a good strong joint.
What opinions are out here for using biscuits for attaching drawer dividers to the sides of a large chest of drawers, either plywood with web frames or solid wood with dovetailed top and bottom.
I’d appreciate any views.

Jake,
This is probably just me and my inexperience, but when I have used just biscuits for attaching dust panels or vertical dividers i have a hellofa time at glue up. The glue has them sliding all over the place and I don't have the support of a dado to help keep things perpendicular.
Also, and this is definitely me, I get a lousy looking joint with the plywood and glue ...and no place to hide the imperfections in the ply. When attaching plywood dust panels to solid wood sides with biscuits, I'm not sure how you provide for expansion either..
A shallow dado with a few dabs of glue is traditional, and probably the best construction as well.

Agree with Charles on the dadoes. You won't have the alignment problems BG mentioned.

I'll stick to the raditional ways.
