Hi I have the new Stanley sweetheart number 4 smoothing plane. I took it apart to sharpen the blade and now I can’t get the blade to fully retract to flatten the sole. I took pictures and reassembled it the same exact way I took it out. It was fully retracted when I took it out. What am I doing wrong?

There's a little rectangular hole in the blade (not the long hole) that must have a metal part to fit in at the top of the frog. If that metal part in not in the hole, you can't adjust the blade.
I have it seated in the hole it just doesn’t want to retract all the way up
Is the chip breaker tightened against the blade? I recently went to use a plane that had been in my till for a while and when I tried "adjusting" the cut, nothing changed. The screw connecting the blade and the breaker had loosened and while turning the depth adjustment screw, only the chip breaker was moving. Give that a look.
I tightened the Dept adjustment screw fully counterclockwise and the blade is still not fully retracted
From your video, it appears that the blade IS fully retracted. It may be visible from beneath, but if the edge is retracted into the plane body (I.e. it won’t cut wood when you push it) the blade is likely retracted enough for flattening.
Is the long sharp edge of the blade on the top? Like in my picture?
I have it on the bottom of the chip breaker bevel down
Yes
Is your frog aligned correctly with the mouth opening?
I’m Relatively new to hand planes and took penalty of pictures during the disassembling process and now it won’t fully retract. I set it up the same way it was before
If the lever cap is fastened, sometimes the blade will not adjust. Try loosening the lever cap and see if will retract then tighten it. You can also sometimes overtighten the screw that holds the lever cap. It should be snug but not overly tight.
