I’m going to spend a week making a toy chest with my cousin for his daughter’s new baby. I saw an article in fine woodworking a few years back that i probably have but is buried somewhere. The article in particular used dovetail construction with two front drawers. I seem to remember a dark color that was used (perhaps cherry or mahogany). Does anyone remember this article? Does anyone remember or know what FW # it might be?

Rich,
First, have you tried searching the Taunton site? You'll find a lot on blanket chests, toolchests and similar, especially if you have paid for their extended Web service.
A quick search reveals that Issue 172 has a chest with a drawer, which may be the one you seek....?
