I have a customer who loves a Lacewood counter I made for them, but his wife wants it lighter in color. Can I bleach Lacewood? Is there another treatment to lighten Lacewood?

Are you talking about Australian lace wood ?
Because you could use "American lace wood", which is nothing but quartersawn Sycamore.
It looks quite similar to its Aussie "counterpart" but quite lighter in color.
