I just sanded and finished a project that was made of Aspen and Padauk wood. The padauk fine particles got into the aspen(white) grain and discolored the wood. How can I remove the fine padauk particles from the aspen before finishing?

Try compressed air, or a tack cloth.
Tried both and it doesn't work. Any other suggestions appreciated.
You'll have to use a smoothing plane or a card scraper.
The oily padauk has dyed the aspen. You will have to use a scraper as has been suggested.
