Does anyone have experience with dust collectors made by Blue Tornado Cyclones? I’m finally ready to put in a dust collection system, but I want to hear other opinions about this particular manufacturer first. Several years ago I saw their machine at one of the Woodworking Shows and I liked what I saw. But I haven’t seen them advertise in any of the magazines I get. I found their web site with lots of information, but I never see them included in the comparisons of cyclone style dust collectors. If anyone knows anything about their quality, reliability, and service after the sale, I would appreciate your input.
Thank You PoplarBeech

I am looking for a Dust Collection system as well. Check out this site: http://billpentz.com/woodworking/cyclone/index.cfm
If you read through the information, (there is a lot of it) you can get a good idea of what to look for and how to design a system. What I like about the site is they have links to different systems and seem to be honest about what it takes to keep the dust out of your lungs. I have been researching this for awhile and am about ready to spring for a cyclone system. The only thing is all the work that needs to be done to hook everything up.
Thanks. I had not seen that web site before. Their review of Blue Tornado says they might be out of business. I haven't tried to contact them. I wanted to hear from anyone who actually has one of their systems in their shop before I go much further. But that site also gave some other manufacturers I should probably look at.
Thanks again.
