HELP!!!
I recently finished a table with 5 coats of water based polyurethane, thinned %30 with water and applied with a rag. The finish had cured for atleast 5 days when a blueberry was dropped on it, leaving a stain dispite immediately wiping the spot with a soapy dish cloth.
Any feedback on why this happened or what could (should) be done would be greatly appreciated!

Waterborne finish can't generally be thinned 30%. If there is too much water, the little emulsified packets of finish start to link internally before they have had a chance to coalesce. Consequently the links between different packets is very weak. This could be a factor here.
Waterborne acyrlic finishes are usually not as resistent to chemicals and heat as oil based in the best case and when they are weakened further by over thinning the staining may have been the result. This is a case where manufacturers directions are important.
