I have a Bosch 1617EVSPK that is less than a year old. I have had two power switches fail on me. The first time i thought it was a fluke, but today it failed again. Anyone else having this problem?

Mine failed too. I ended up just leaving that router in a table with an external switch. I didn't feel like taking it in for repair so I opened it up and wired it to bypass the switch. I believe that type of switch would be available at http://www.partsexpress.com if you wanted to buy it yourself.
I think I remember someone over in knots posting this problem. He said that he used an air gun and blew out the dust/saw dust and it worked after that. He does it now for regular maintanence. I think their is something about the switch is not a sealed switch so the dust accumulates and causes the failure. Bosch will replace it if it is under warranty but the replacement is (I think) the same exact part, so it will happen again.
Try shooting it with air, then go from there.
