bosch 1617evspk and power switches
I recently bought a bosch 1617evspk. I have a 1619 already,
and for the new purchase, didn’t think to look where the power switch
was located. On the 1617, it is on the motor rather than the handle.
Taking a hand off the router handles to switch it off seems like a
accident waiting to happen to me.
I was hoping others might share their opinion on this.
Thanks.

Ros,
The 1619 is a dedicated plunge router, therefore the swtich was designed into the handle. The 1617 is designed to be changed from the fixed base to the plunge base, therefore the switch has to be on the motor. I have three 1617EVS routers, including one that came in the 'PK' set. It's a fine machine and I still have all ten digits.
