Bought a new TS on the weekend. I like just about everything with the exception of the fence. It seems that I need to use my tape measure referenced off of the saw blade to ensure that the fence winds up parallel to the blade as the fence doesn’t want to square itself when I lock it down. Seems kind of hokey to me. Anyone else dissatisfied with the Bosch fence? Suggested adjustments welcome.
BTW I dropped by my local lumber store on the way through town and fiddled with the Makita 10″ TS. (similar design) and the fence would square to 90 deg when I locked down the fence even when I purposefully set it slightly off.

To square the fence on the Bosch you must first square the table to the blade. One this is done there are 2 allen head screws on top of the fence that allow for adjustment. there are several pages in the instruction manual that explain the process in more detail.
Good luck,
Justin
thanks Justin, I have already read through and done the recommended adjustments to the table etc. I was out playing with the saw just now and the problem seems to be that the fence doesn't self align to 90 deg as I expected it would when I lock it onto the rails. It locks wherever it lands which is usually a few degrees off of square.
I am wondering if I have been spending too much time in the shop at the unifence and my expectations are just a bit too high for the Bosch ;-)
